  • Craven Primary - notice to parents

    20th December 2013

    When Craven Primary converted to an academy on 1st November 2013, as part of the conversion process the Department for Education determined a reduction in the pupil admissions numbers (PAN) from 40-30.

    As the sponsor for Craven, SPTA will enter into a formal period of consultation from 6th January to 28th February 2014.

    As part of the consultation we will be contacting the following parties to inform and update on the amendment to the PAN:-

    The application process to apply for 2014/15 School Direct places with the SPTA is now open. Please visit the following link via UCAS to apply - https://apply.gttr.ac.uk/apply/student/login.do

    There will be two opportunities for you to make an application for the School Direct training – Apply 1 and Apply 2.

    Apply 1 will open on 21 November 2013 and close on 15 September 2014.

    Apply 2 will open on 2 January 2014 and close on 31October 2014.

This consultation is to enable the local community and parents to raise an interest about the conversion of the existing school to an Academy.     Ingleby Manor Free School & Sixth Form Consultation

    Ingleby Manor Free School is currently in the pre-opening phase and it is planned to open in September 2014. The school will open in September with year 7 only and will grow to 750 pupils which includes 150 in the 6th form.

    Three aspiring students from Rossington All Saints Academy; Josh Bathgate, Lauren Caldwell and Jonathan McPhail and past student Laura Pearman, all interviewed for positions as casual coaches with Active Fusion.  All 4 have been offered the positions after demonstrating their abilities in teaching lessons to both year 7 and 8 students.

  • Young Voices at Sheffield Arena

    6th February 2013

    A group of De Warenne students went to Sheffield Arena to sing in the Young Voices Choir on 23rd January. The singers had rehearsed a variety of songs and the actions to go with them. They were lucky enough to be right on the front row and got their T-shirts signed by the stars of the show including internationally renowned musician Randolph Matthews.
