A Night to Remember: The 16th DACT Met Ball Raises Over £22,000

The 16th Ball hosted by Delta Academies Charitable Trust (DACT) took place on Saturday 7 March 2026 at The Met Hotel Leeds, bringing together Delta colleagues, sponsors, supporters and special guests for a fantastic evening of fundraising to help create life changing opportunities for children and families across the Trust.

Guests included rugby legend Jason Robinson OBE, Delta CEO Andy Barnett, Deputy CEO Trudi Bartle and former CEO Sir Paul Tarn, who joined the celebrations alongside the wider Delta colleagues and friends.

The evening featured a raffle, cash bonanza and an exciting auction, with prizes generously donated by Jason Robinson including signed rugby boots and a cycling jersey signed by Sir Bradley Wiggins. Guests also enjoyed live entertainment from Central Avenue Function Band, kindly provided by Diamond sponsors, Document Solutions.

DACT would like to extend a special thank you to our Platinum sponsor ION, all of our other sponsors and those who attended and supported the event.

Together, the evening raised an incredible £22,253.60 to support the work of DACT in removing barriers and creating opportunities for children and families across the Trust.

“I am very grateful to all who supported the Charity ball, either in attending or by buying raffle tickets before the event. The amount raised is the highest yet, and will help a lot of pupils and students in our academies. A big thank you also to the Events team, Amanda Small, Ewan Calam, Olivia Crossley & Lucy Dix for all their hard work in helping the event to run a smoothly as it did.

Watch out for our next event and how you can support the work of DACT”
